GOLDesp for Military Maintenance

GOLDesp provides maintenance management capability for the digital battlefield, including a variety of automated tools not typically provided by a traditional, manufacturing-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The Maintenance module of GOLDesp provides airworthiness decision support and a paperless working environment, plus the major benefit of delivering consistent procedures for users. Maintenance tools are available to schedule and record maintenance actions, control and update configurations, and evaluate maintainability and reliability, right down to the individual component level by part number and serial number (and now IUID (Item Unique Identifier)). Special tools are also available for repair tracking of components through back shops and out to sub-vendors, to capture repair costs and measure and manage each step of the repair process to reduce repair cycle times.

The Maintenance module of GOLDesp is designed to retain the proven, battle-tested features of Miro's Work Recording & Asset Management (WRAM Online) application, a version of GOLD used by the U.K. Ministry of Defence to support aircraft maintenance for over 650 helicopters and other aviation platforms for the British Army, Royal Navy, and Royal Air Force. GOLDesp retains the unique capability of WRAM Online to autonomously support deployed units both ashore and afloat by means of effective data distribution. 'Deployability' means that units in the field can maintain aircraft and control airworthiness in a disconnected environment, entirely without the need to connect their laptops to a central server.   • Advanced technology – GOLDesp is Java EE compliant and based on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA); scalable, open-source platform. Proven transaction engine.
  • Scalability – proven ability to support as few as eight users and as many as 10,000.
  • Connectivity - easy integration with existing corporate infrastructure (portals, dashboards, security, etc.). Extensive set of APIs to seamlessly integrate with military and defense contractor systems.
