AuRA rolls out at SAS Norway

La Jolla, CA, USA – June 10, 2008

Miro Technologies® announced today the successful implementation of the AuRA™ Maintenance and Engineering system at SAS Norway.  The initial rollout provides an AuRA solution for EASA Part M activity that includes engineering management, planning and line maintenance for the SAS Norway 737-400 fleet.

The AuRA rollout at SAS Norway will continue in a phased approach, according to Terje Helgaland, Assistant Director Engineering and the project manager of the AuRA implementation. The next phase will bring online the 737-500s, followed closely by the 737-NG (600/700/800) and Fokker 50 fleets. The airline’s Part M group located in Stavanger, Norway will be the primary AuRA users.

Miro previously implemented AuRA for Scandinavian Airlines in Stockholm, with the final SAS aircraft coming on line in November, 2006.  Last year, Miro and SAS Technical Services (STS) implemented AuRA at Air Maintenance Estonia (AME), a subsidiary of STS based in Tallinn, Estonia.
