for Maintenance and Materials Management

La Jolla, CA – January 12, 2006

Miro Technologies announced today that SriLankan Airlines has selected the Miro AuRA™ software suite to replace the legacy system in use at SriLankan today. In an initiative to modernize its IT systems for Maintenance and Materials Management, SriLankan will take delivery of an enterprise-wide AuRA solution consisting of the Enterprise Management and Business Intelligence modules, as well as modules for Maintenance, Engineering and Materials Management.

"SriLankan had a need to update its maintenance IT systems to streamline its Maintenance & Engineering processes. AuRA offered the functionality and well designed implementation methodology to meet this requirement," said Kamal Nanayakkara, Head of IT at SriLankan.

"The introduction of AuRA will significantly strengthen the ability of SriLankan to achieve the highest level of safety and reliability at reasonable costs, and to maintain its commitment to high quality service," said Capt. Richard (Dick) Hutton, Chief Technical Officer of SriLankan Airlines.

"Miro is pleased to be working with SriLankan to enhance their maintenance and materials management capabilities using Miro's AuRA software," said Vincent Monteparte, Miro's President. "The AuRA implementation at SriLankan will demonstrate Miro's ability to provide a modern aviation maintenance system for airlines of all sizes in India and throughout Asia."
